The Framingham Board of Health is a three-member board appointed by the Board of Selectmen. It's located in the…More Memorial Building (also known as Framingham Town Hall). The board meets regularly. Its responsibilities include licenses, permits and inspections of restaurants, retail food stores, food events, milk and cream permits, tanning booths and beds, massages therapists and businesses, public swimming pools, tattoo establishments and more.
The board provides some health screenings through its clinic and medically-trained staff. It also holds various clinics at public locations throughout the year, such as flu shot clinics.
Julian M. Suso has been Framingham's Town Manager since May 2006. The Town Manager position was established in 1996. The Town Manager is appointed by the Board of Selectmen and cannot have longer than a three-year contract.

The Cultural Council oversees grants including PASS grants which fund cultural field trips for school students. The Council grants money to individuals and groups. Council members serve a three-year term. The Council meets about six times a year, including a public hearing to provide grant application information to residents.
