UPDATED: Framingham Man Charged with 2 Armed Robberies

Police say a Framingham man, 29, robbed AV's Market II on Tuesday and the Raj Mini Market on Sunday.

Framingham Police arrested a Greenview Street resident Tuesday night and charged him with armed robbery of two markets. Ramon Roman, 29, 6 Greenview St., Apt. 116, was arrested at his residence. He was charged with two counts of armed robbery. Police say he held up AV's Market II on Tuesday, Feb. 5 and Raj Mini Market, 80 Waverly St. Sunday night. An employee at AV's II Market told Police a black man wearing a black hooded jacket and latex gloves pointed a silver handgun at the clerk and threatened to shoot him, if the clerk didn’t give him money, said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini. Brandolini said the clerk gave the suspect "several thousand dollars." The man then left the store and headed towards Ashland on Waverly Street. On …

Police: Armed Robber Pointed Handgun at Clerk

A man, who robbed a Waverly Street market Tuesday night, is still wanted by police.

Framingham Police are still looking for the man who robbed AV's II Market at 890 Waverly St. Tuesday night around 7:30 p.m. A manhunt, with dogs, did not lead to an arrest. An employee at AV's II Market told Police a black man wearing a black hooded jacket and latex gloves pointed a silver handgun at the clerk and threatened to shoot him, if the clerk didn’t give him money, said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini. Brandolini said the clerk gave the suspect "several thousand dollars." The man then left the store and headed towards Ashland on Waverly Street, said Brandolini. Framingham Police are searching for suspect who took off on foot.

Framingham Police are searching for a black male suspect who took off on foot, after robbing AV's Market at 890 Waverly St., on Tuesday night. The market is located across the street from La Cantina Ristorante. The suspect took off on foot towards Ashland. The armed robbery happened around 7:30 p.m. Framingham Patch will update when we know more.

Theft - Case No. 110687 Oct. 6, 2011 Family Dollar store in Framingham Case Details: On Oct. 6, 2011, at about 8:20 a.m., someone showed a black handgun at the Family Dollar store, 208 Waverley St., Framingham. Framingham Police describe the suspect as a heavyset black male, about 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Framingham Police at 508-532-5923.
