SMOC Purchased Dennison Building

SMOC plans to move to 7 Bishop St. in the fall, after Avery Dennison moves its operations to Westborough, after more than a century in Framingham. The Southern Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC) currently located at 300 Howard St. is not expanding, but consolidating its administrative offices into more modern space, said Jerry Desilets, SMOC Director of Planning. Desilets, said SMOC had been renting its current space since 1996, and will move into its new location sometime in the fall. "We need more efficient, modernized space," he said.
