UPDATED: Car On Its Side on Route 9 East; Expect Delays

Two-car crash on Route 9 East at intersection of Oaks Road, expect delays on both sides of Route 9.

UPDATED: 1:15 p.m. Framingham Police report it is a two-car crash, with no injuries. *** There is a report of a vehicle crash at Route 9 East at the intersection of Oaks Road, near the Sunoco gas station. Scanner reports has it as a rollover, but no entrapment, just before 1 p.m. A Framingham Patch reader reported "a car sitting on it driver side in the middle of Route 9." Framingham Police and Framingham Fire are on the scene.

A car crashed into a tree on Fenway Drive Monday afternoon.

Framingham Fire and Framingham Police responded to a car crashing into a tree on Fenway Drive near Linda Avenue at about 1:20 p.m. No other information was available on the crash, including the condition of the driver. Thanks to Framingham Patch reader Lily Devlen for these photos.

Overturned Car on Edmands Causes Power Outage

At about 11:15 p.m. Sunday, Framingham Fire was called to 586 Edmands for a car on its roof, with two occupants inside.

Framingham Fire Department responded to Edmands Road Sunday night for an overturned auto. At about 11:15 p.m. Engine 7 found a car on its roof, with two occupants inside at 586 Edmands Rd. The crash brought down a large tree across the roadway and knocked out power to the neighborhood. The condition of the driver and passenger is unknown at this time. Framingham Police are investigating. Sadly, this spot is close to where Robert Weitzler was killed in April. Thanks to Amy Ludlam for the photo. Framingham Patch will update when we learn more.

UPDATE: Report of Crash Involving 2 Framingham Police Motorcycles, Car

One Framingham officer suffered a "minor" leg injury and was taken to MetroWest Medical Center.

UPDATE at 8:20 p.m. with information from Framingham Police Report of a crash involving two Framingham Police motorcycles and a car near Summer and Central streets tonight sometime after 6. Summer was still blocked off after 7 p.m. "Around six, two police motorcycles traveling east on Summer were struck by a vehicle coming out of Fenwick," said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini. Brandolini explained that one bike was hit, forcing it into the other bike. One Framingham officer suffered a "minor" leg injury and was taken to MetroWest Medical Center, said Brandolini. State Police Cruiser, Audi Driven By Framingham Man in Route 128 Crash

A State Police cruiser and an Audi, driven by a Framingham, man were involved in a crash in Needham, just before 3 p.m. today, Oct. 14

A State Police Cruiser was involved in a crash on Route 128 in Needham today, The sergeant, whose cruiser was struck in this crash was transported to Beth Israel-Needham, where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries to his upper and lower body. The sergeant, whose name we are not releasing at this time, was involved in the crash while he was on a funeral escort detail for a procession in that area, said a Massachusetts State Police spokesperson in a release. The sergeant is expected to be released later tonight. The sergeant was driving his marked 2007 Ford Crown Victoria sedan on Route 128 in Needham. The other vehicle involved in the crash was a 2006 Audi A4, operated by a Framingham man, age 64. His name has not been …
