A rally for School Committee candidate Eric Silverman has been scheduled for Monday, Jan. 14 at Bella Costa Ristorante from 6 to 8 p.m. The public is invited. "Silverman has first-hand familiarity with town government and finances and now serves as a Town Meeting member," states the press release. Silverman is a professor and department chair at Wheelock College. His children attended Stapleton Elementary School, where he served on the School Council. Editor's Note: The following was Eric Silverman's statement to the Framingham School Committee Tuesday night. I am Eric Silverman, a Town Meeting member, a parent of Cameron Middle and High School students, a professor at Wheelock College, and, most recently, a candidate for the seat on School Committee soon to be vacated by Adam Blumer.
