The storms will be slow moving and capable of dropping 2 to 4 inches of rain in a very short period of time, which may lead to localized flash flooding. A flash flood watch has been issued by the weather service. Motorists are advised not to try to drive through this localized flooding on the roadways. Framingham experienced flash flood conditions last week, as Route 9 was closed and other roads were flooded.
