Framingham Winter Farmers Market Opens Today

Market will be open today from noon to 5:30 p.m. at First Parish Church.

Framingham's Winter Farmers Market opens today at First Parish Church. The market will be held in the church's hall, which is handicap accessible. This is the first year the Framingham farmers market wll beheld in the winter, said manager Jackie Meninno. The market will be held the first Thursday of each month from noon to 5:30 p.m. through May. Many of the vendors from the summer Farmers Market are participating in the winter market too, said Meninno. Hanson's Farm will be selling wreaths, greens and ornaments. At the manager's table, Jennifer Soap products can be purchased. Farmer's Market Opens Thursday

Every Thursday from noon to 5:30 p.m. on the Village Green, residents can find Hanson's Farm and three other produce farmers, Great Harvest Bread Company, a meat vendor, a seafood merchant and more.

Fresh produce, kettle corn, fresh seafood and baked breads will be found at the Framingham Farmer's Market, which opens Thursday. Taking place every Thursday from noon to 5:30 p.m. on the Village Green (also known as the Town Common) on the Vernon Street side, the market will feature for now four  produce farmers (one organic farmer), Great Harvest Bread Company, a meat vendor and a seafood merchant.  Tom and Martha Hanson of Hanson's Farm are one of the vendors. The market will be located on the Vernon Street side. Jacqueline Meninno is the market manager.
