Fifth Sexual Assault Reported at Framingham State

A female student reported an indecent assault and battery to university police; the male resident student known to the victim, was removed from campus.

Framingham State University Police are investigating a fifth report of a sexual assault at the University this academic year. On the University Police Department's Facebook page and alert was posted on Thursday. It states on Wednesday, April 10 a University "female resident student reported a past indecent assault & battery. The accused F.S.U. male resident student is known to the victim. The suspect was questioned by F.S.U. Police and has been temporarily separated from campus. The incident remains under investigation. Police: Student Exposed Himself to Framingham State University Employee

A Framingham State University employee reported a male Framingham State student for exposing himself to her.

A female Framingham State University employee reported to Framingham State University Police that a male Framingham State University student, who resides on campus, has been exposing himself to her. Unversity police questioned the resident student. The report was filed on Friday, March 15. The male student since has been removed from the University, until the matter is resolved, reported Framingham State University Police on its Facebook page. The police investigation is ongoing. Framingham Patch will update when we learn more.

Former FSU Police Officer Stabbed With Spear

The suspect, 27, was arrested on 14 charges, including attempted murder, assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, speeding and driving with a suspended license.

A former Framingham State University Police Officer, now working for Northbridge Police, was stabbed with a double-bladed spear following a car chase that began in Milford Friday morning. Northbridge Police Officer Thomas Dejordy, responding to Milford Police's request to stop a blue 2003 Jaguar, spotted the vehicle and followed it to High Street and the home of Adam Tillison, 27, of Whittinsville. Police said Tillison, the driver, jumped out of the Jaguar, and ran inside. Police said Tillison then grabbed a spear and attacked Dejordy, as he made his way to the top of the stairs. The spear penetrated Dejordy’s protective vest. The officer suffered a stab wound to the abdomen, just below the ribs. Despite his injuries, he managed to tackle …

Framingham State University Police Sgt. Robert Barrette Receives Patriot Award

University Police Officer Kristen Walls, who is stationed in Kosovo as part of the Massachusetts Army National Guard, nominated her supervisor for the award.

The U.S. Department of Defense presented Framingham State University Police Sgt. Robert Barrette with the Patriot Award, for going out of his way to support fellow University Officer Kristen Walls. Walls, a member of the Framingham State University patrol division, is a First Lieutenant with the Massachusetts Army National Guard, Delta Company 223 Military Intelligence Battalion. She is currently deployed in support of Operation Joint Guardian, a NATO mission in Kosovo. She nominated Sgt. Barrette for the Patriot Award, which recognizes efforts made by supervisors to support enlisted guardsman or reservists through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families and …

Student Says Photo Snapped of Her in Shower

The incident took place Thursday about 2 p.m. in Larned Hall on the campus of Framingham State University.

A female student, residing at Larned Hall, reported when she was showering in the sixth floor bathroom, she saw what appeared to be either a black cell phone or digital camera enter the shower stall and the device flashed, as if a picture was taken, reported Framingham State University Police. The incident took place Thursday just before 2 p.m. The student said the hand, holding the device, looked white. She told University Police once the flash went off, whoever was holding the cell phone/camera exited the bathroom. University Police, as well as the University Office of residence life, are investigating the incident. Are You the Kissing Man?

Framingham State University Police issued a safety bulletin Tuesday for a man, who has been stopping women on Adams Road and State Street asking for kisses.

Framingham State University Police issued a safety bulletin late Tuesday afternoon for man who has been stopping women on Adams Road and State Street asking for kisses. Described as a white man, 30 to 35 years old, with a shaved head or possibly bald, he has been seen wearing a grey pea coat and driving a grey vehicle. University Police said they have received reports of the man approaching females on Adams Road and State Street telling them he is doing a scavenger hunt and asking the women to kiss him and sign a sheet of paper, so he could earn three points in the scavenger hunt. 'Small' Fire at Hemenway Hall on University Campus

Once carbon dioxide levels were tested and deemed safe, students and staff were allowed back in the building, reported University Police.

A small fire was reported inside Hemenway Hall on the campus of Framingham State University at 7 a.m. Wednesday. Framingham Fire Department and Framingham State University Police were both on the scene, as he hall was evacuated. According to University Police, "the fire started in Hemenway Lab Room 313." The fire was contained to the lab. Framingham Fire described the fire as “small and isolated," according to University Police. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Once carbon dioxide levels were tested and deemed safe, students and staff were allowed back in the building, said Framingham State University Police. There were no injuries. Room 313 is still closed.

A Framingham State University police car was among three involved in a wreck at Maple and State streets, according to an initial scanner report.

A Framingham State University police cruiser was among three vehicles involved in a crash at Maple and State streets in Framingham Saturday afternoon, according to an initial scanner report. UPDATED: 3 Sexual Assaults Reported on Framingham State Campus

The suspect has been temporarily removed from campus while these cases are still under investigation, reported the Framingham State University Police Department.

Framingham State University Police Department posted on its Facebook page that an individual was removed from campus following the report of three sexual assaults. On Sept. 19, the University Police Department was "informed of 3 separate sexual assaults that took place in Towers Hall on separate occasions. The suspect has been temporarily removed from campus while these cases are still under investigation. UPDATED: Shooting Victim Released From Hospital

Man, who police said shot the victim in the head, is still at-large. Residents unhappy no reverse 911 call during the search.

The man shot in the head Saturday night on Richardson Circle was released from the hospital early Sunday, police said. The "bullet didn't penetrate the skull," said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini. The police are still looking for the shooter. The shooter was described in a text to those on campus at Framingham State University as a black male, age 26, about 5'7 160 pounds. Just after 4:30 p.m. on Saturday police received a report of a man shot in the back of the head. The shooter than left the scene in a car. When police tried to pull the car over, the suspect jumped out and escaped on foot. A massive search then happened near the university campus and near Temple Street, Winter Street and Route 9.
