Framingham Girl Scouts made care packages for sister Girl Scouts in New Jersey. A shipment was delivered early this month.
Framingham Girl Scouts made care packages for sister Girl Scouts in New Jersey, who were affected by Hurricane Sandy. Girl Scouts from several Troops in Framingham donated underwear, socks, hair care products and toiletries for Girl Scouts of North New Jersey Council. Girl Scout leader Shawn Granoff delivered the shipment to a church designated by the Girl Scout Council. The Framingham Girl Scouts are also working with Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore Council to help those Scouts affected by Hurricane Sandy. Troop Leader Tracy Lampl is organizing the relief efforts for Framingham Scouts. The Scouts plan to make another delivery near Thanksgiving and another closed to the holidays.
