About 13% of the town is still without power. Several roads still have downed trees or wires from the weekend snowstorm. Town does not plan to cancel Halloween. Will you let your child(ren) trick or treat tonight?

Framingham Parks & Recreation held its annual Pumpkins in the Park event for almost 100 children Saturday afternoon.
Framingham Parks & Recreation held its annual Pumpkins in the Park event for almost 100 children Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, about five minutes into the event it began to rain. Many of the children had a fun time despite the weather. The highlights included painting a pumpkin, the hayride through Cushing Memorial Park and a demonstration from the Massachusetts State Police K-9 unit.

Fuller Middle School held a costume dance Friday night. The evening featured some very creative (some scary) costumes and both students and teachers were very much into the Halloween spirit. Fuller’s own “DJ Exponent” spun some of today’s most popular music and got the crowd up and dancing. As the party warmed up, "Thomas The Tank Engine" lead a train of dancers that encircled the dance floor. In almost no time, that train grew and went around the whole room. Thanks to Charlie Pasewark of Photography In Motion for the photos! Please tag (and identify) yourself in the photos!

PAC Family Players will stage three performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, including one, weather permitting, at the Stonybrook Golf Course Saturday night.
I profess not to know how women’s hearts are wooed and won. Performing Arts Center of MetroWest Family Players will stage three performances of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, including one at Stonybrook Golf Course in Southborough, weather permitting. Based on Washington Irving’s classic ghost story and staged by six students in grades 7-9, the show is a spooky play with a bit of song and dance. Come in costume for the performance, as there will be a costume parade following each show. For those unfamiliar with the story: "The play begins when Ichabod Crane, a slightly goofy schoolmaster, comes to the farming community of Sleepy Hollow. He’s looking for a good life and wealthy wife who will supply it. Once he sets eyes on the local …
