Jordan Marsh Blueberry Muffins Return to Shoppers World

John Harvard's Brew House has created a Blueberry Muffin Beer and a Jordan Marsh-style Blueberry Muffin dessert, in which a part of the proceeds will benefit the Framingham History Center.

Blueberries are not only good for you, they are good for the Framingham History Center, too. John Harvard's Brew House created a series of breakfast brews, including a blueberry muffin beer this month. Tonight, the blueberry muffin beer ($6 a pint) will be re-named Shoppers Ale. And for every pint of the amber ale with hints of blueberry and cinnamon sold, $1 will go to the Framingham History Center. John Harvard's is also unveiling a Jordan Marsh-style blueberry muffin dessert ($5.99), of which $1 also will go to the Framingham History Center. Im not sure if anybody is aware of this, due the the hype on the fact that JH is now selling these new items... the Jordan Marsh muffins have been available right here in Cochituate, MA for a long while now. Serving Up Beer for Breakfast

John Harvard's Brew House has introduced a six pack of breakfast-themed beers and ales, along with a handful of new brunch items for a limited time.

Instead of a cup of Earl Grey tea with your Belgian waffle, consider a 50 Shades of Earl Grey IPA. Or try a pint of Maple Porter, with a breakfast pizza featuring maplewood smoked ham and sunny side up eggs. Beer, it can be for breakfast. John Harvard's Brew House has introduced a half dozen breakfast-themed beers and ales, along with a handful of new brunch items for a limited time. Head brewer RJ Schultz and his team have created six different beers and ales that incorporate some favorite flavors from the breakfast table, said Restaurant General Manager Bob Scott. John Harvard's Brew House is brewing and selling an ale in honor of Framingham's Civil War General. General Gordon's Nut Brown Ale will be brewed and sold at John Harvard's Brew House until May 31. For each pint sold, the Shoppers World establishment will donate $1 to the Framingham History Center. The Framingham History Center is celebrating the life of the Framingham general as it continues its commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. The Center will host a Living History Encampment on the Centre Common the weekend of May 4-6. Down A Beer, Support the Framingham History Center

John Harvard's Brew House has created a special "General Gordon's Nut Brown Ale" to support the Framingham History Center; the ale will be unveiled on March 15.

John Harvard's Brew House will unveil an ale in honor of Framingham's Civil War General. General Gordon's Nut Brown Ale will be brewed and sold at John Harvard's Brew House from March 15 through May 31.  For each pint sold, the Shoppers World establishment will donate $1 to the Framingham History Center. And on March 15, the public is invited to try a free sample from 6 to 7 p.m. at John Harvard's. The public is also encouraged to purchase the limited-edition General George Gordon pint glass or pick up an author-signed copy of the book Framingham's Civil War Hero - The Life of General George H. Framingham Tapped Into the First-Ever MetroWest Brew-Fest

John Harvard's Brew House and Jack's Abby Brewery participated in the first-ever MetroWest Brew-fest in Holliston last week. More than 350 people attended the event.

John Harvard's Brew House and Jack's Abby Brewery, both located in Framingham, participated in the first-ever MetroWest Brew-fest in Holliston last week. More than 350 patrons tasted craft beer from across the country. Held at the Holliston Historical Society, the event raised more than $14,000 to benefit the town's Community Action Fund, which gives emergency grants to families in need.
