Wanted: Kindergarteners for the Class of 2026

Framingham Public Schools' Parent Information Center is continuing to register kindergarten students for fall 2013.

These kindergarteners, who must be age 5 by Aug. 31, 2013, would be members of the class of 2026. Forms are available on the district's website in English, Spanish and Portuguese.  Forms can be submitted electronically to the Parent Information Center.

Wanted: Kindergarteners for the Class of 2025

Framingham Public Schools are taking pre-registration information for the incoming kindergarten class, beginning fall 2012; as the current kindergarten class is the largest in the district at 798 students.

Framingham Public Schools' Parent Information Center has begun pre-registration for kindergarten students for fall 2012. These kindergarteners, who must be age 5 by Aug. 31, 2012, would be members of the class of 2025. Forms are available on the district's website in English, Spanish and Portuguese.  For the first time these forms can be submitted electronically to the Parent Information Center, said Anna Carollo Cross. The forms have also been distributed to community preschools, said Cross. Framingham School Committee has made having free full-time kindergarten for fall 2012, as one of its top goals. I completely agree, Christine and I have called the PIC to let them know my concerns. We are one of the 13 unlucky families on the waiting list and I can't understand why, if splits exist at Dunning and Potter, why it can't be done at Hemenway, especially with more than half a class' worth of kids waiting.   more ›
