Keefe Tech and former McAuliffe Charter School had been diagnosed with a rare type of cancer in 2009. He was 15.
Framingham teen Michael Eden, 15, who had been battling a rare cancer, has died. The Keefe Tech student, who had attended McAuliffe Regional Public Charter School, had been battling Rhabdomyosarcoma, a type of cancer where tumors develop in the muscles connected to the bones, since 2009. The family had held a benefit for him last week at the Natick Am Vets. Team IMPACT provided an opportunity for Eden to skate with the Bentley University hockey team, earlier this year. Eden also had been active in Framingham Baseball. Another fundraising event (for May 20 in Boston), had just been posted on Framingham Patch two days ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family!
