Kyle Alleyne, 28, was found guilty by a Middlesex Superior Court jury on charges of first degree murder and assault and battery following a 12-day trial in Woburn. Middlesex Superior Court Judge Thomas Billings sentenced Alleyne this afternoon to life in prison without the eligibility for parole for the murder of his wife, and 2 years in jail, to run concurrent, on the assault and battery charge. “This defendant was found guilty of brutally stabbing his wife to death, leaving two very young children without a mother,” said Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone in a press release.  “The disturbing nature of this case is a stark …

Framingham Murder Defendant Attacks Victim's Family in Court

The Framingham man is on trial for the killing of his teenage wife in 2010.

A Framingham man accused of killing his teenage wife and hiding her decaying corpse inside their apartment tried to attack her family members in court Monday, according to a report in the Boston Herald. Kyle Alleyne walked into the Middlesex Superior courtroom and jumped over a railing trying to attack a family member of the late Heather Alleyne, according to MaryBeth Long, a spokeswoman for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. No one was injured, said Long. After an hour recess, the trial resumed, she said. Long, who was not in the courtroom at the time, told the Boston Herald, she did not have any information on what may have prompted the outburst or if any additional precautions have been taken in the courtroom. Alleyne's murder …

Juror #1

8:30 pm on Friday, February 15, 2013

I was a juror on this case. This is a truly evil person who clearly thought the rules didn't apply to him. He obviously thought he was smarter than everyone else... Not so much though... Thanks go out to all of the investigators as well as the assistant DA Joe Gentile. Your thoroughness and hard work made our deliberation immeasurably less difficult. Mr. Alleyne is now exactly where he should be.   more ›

DA: Framingham Man Stabbed Unfaithful Teenage Wife To Death

Prosecutor said, Wednesday in court, the Framingham man lived in the apartment with his wife's dead body before fleeing to Mexico with the couple's oldest child. He was upset the wife's 2-week old baby was not his daughter.

A Framingham man when he learned the baby girl, born July 23, 2010, was the product of an extramarital affair stabbed his unfaithful teenage wife to death and then lived in their apartment for days with her decaying corpse and their older child before fleeing solo to Mexico, prosecutors said Wednesday in Middlesex District Superior Court in Woburn. Heather Alleyne, just two weeks after delivering her daughter Neveah — heaven spellled backward — and one day after she gave up custody of the infant to the baby’s biological father to save her marriage, “suffered a brutal and excruciating death,” Assistant Middlesex District Attorney Joseph Gentile Jr. said on the opening day of Kyle Alleyne’s trial on first-degree murder charges, reported the …

Key Witness in Framingham Murder Trial Dies

Robert Moccia, 52, gave damaging grand jury testimony against his brother, Paul Moccia.

Robert Moccia, a government witness in his brother's ongoing first-degree murder case, died Monday evening in New Hampshire, his brother's attorney confirmed Tuesday. He was 52. Steven Boozang, Paul Moccia's attorney, declined to comment how the witness' death would effect his client's trial, but extended his condolences. "It's just a tragedy for the family that's gone through a lot the last few years," Boozang said in a phone interview. The prosecution alleges that Moccia aided his brother in a 2009 slaying of a Framingham man, Angel Antonio Ramirez, by following Paul Moccia to Framingham to drop off Ramirez's truck. Robert Moccia then drove his brother back to Dedham, where the two separated, according to his statements to police. The …

New 'Significant' Details About Body Disposal Causes Moccia Trial Delay

Paul Moccia, of Dedham, is accused of killing a Framingham man in March 2009.

Potentially damaging evidence in the murder trial of a Dedham man has caused yet another delay that now pins a trial date to nearly three years after the alleged crime. Prosecutors handed over new witness statements Monday in Norfolk County Superior Court to defense attorneys for Paul Moccia that prosecutors said relates to the brutal fashion Moccia and a co-conspirator disposed of Angel Ramirez's body. Moccia faces first-degree murder charges along with Daniel Bradley, of Westwood. Investigators allege the two men shot and killed Ramirez, 37 of Framingham, over a five-figure drug debt that Moccia owed to the victim. Moccia lured Ramirez to his Jefferson Station apartment on the night of March 20, 2009, then drove him to a Walpole cement …

Prosecution’s Timeline of Events in Wayland Murder

The timeline provided below was compiled from the Commonwealth’s Statement of the Case document filed at Middlesex Country Superior Court in Woburn on Aug. 23.

Spring 2008 – Lauren Astley and Nathaniel Fujita, both freshmen at Wayland High School, become girlfriend and boyfriend. April 2011 – Astley ends her relationship with Fujita after the two had dated – with “ups and downs in their relationship" – through their senior year. June 4, 2011 – Fujita is kicked out of a graduation party after becoming “belligerent and disruptive.” Astley attends the same party and “openly socialized with her friends and classmates.” June 2011 – Fujita’s mother becomes worried about her son and visits Astley, unbeknownst to her son, at Astley’s place of employment at the Natick Mall. She asks Astley whether she thinks her son “would be okay at college in the fall.” Astley reassures Fujita’s mom. June 2011 – Astley …

We just had a situation this month in our town where a boyfriend went to his girlfriend's workplace and shot and killed her the day before her birthday because she broke up with him. Teenagers and college students are just as vulnerable to domestic violence as adults are and need to be educated about the dangers..Watch - http://goo.gl/HS1EM   more ›

Trial Dates Set For Suspects Accused of Killing, Chopping Framingham Man

Attorneys agreed to a February 2012 trial date for Daniel Bradley, and a December 2011 date for his alleged co-conspirator, Paul Moccia.

A Westwood man facing first-degree murder charges in the 2009 killing of a Framingham man is set to go on trial next February. Bradley's trial date was set for Feb. 6, 2012, while Moccia is set to go on Trial December 5. Prosecutors allege Moccia and Bradley shot and killed Ramirez on March 20, 2009, then dismembered and disposed of Ramirez's body at a concrete plant in Walpole.
