Extreme Cold, Possibly More Snow in Store for Framingham This Week

The National Weather Service is predicting low temperatures in the single digits.

A snowy start to the week could herald more wintry conditions for Framingham, according to the National Weather Service. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for Framingham from 10 p.m. Tuesday through 10 a.m. Wednesday as the temps are expected to plummet to 4 degrees with wind chills as low as -10. The coldest conditions are expected to occur after midnight and through mid-morning Wednesday. Tuesday night through Thursday are predicted to be clear, but with temperatures between 1 and 18 degrees. With such cold temperatures, "There will be a heightened threat for frostbite or hypothermia for those venturing outside," according to the Weather Service advisory.
