The Town of Framingham will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Day at McCarthy Elementary School from 9 a.m. to 1p.m. today. NO LATE ARRIVALS ACCEPTED! The event is free to all Framingham residents, but those participating most show an ID. So check your closets, sheds and garages for outdated and unused chemicals and bring them to this free event. Please review the attached flyer carefully for a list of acceptable and unacceptable items. We will not accept items on the unacceptable list. UPDATED 3:01 p.m. Tonight concert will be indoors at Eagles Hall. Music starts at 6:30 p.m. We won't have the Patch tent, but hope to see a lot of you at the final concert of the summer. Also please bring socks tonight! The Framingham Veterans Agent in conjunction with the Massachusetts Association of Public Health Nurses have teamed up in an effort to collect white tube or athletic socks for homeless and at risk veterans. These socks are handed out directly to homeless veterans at OPERATION STAND DOWN held annually in Boston. He is working to exempt Olympic champions from taxes on their medals and the monetary prizes, awarded by the Olympic committee.
