Resh Ramlukan, the owner of Panache Coffee on Route 9, announced on Facebook she sold the business she launched.

Panache Coffee has been sold. Resh Ramlukan, the owner of Panache Coffee on Route 9, announced this holiday weekend on Facebook she sold the business she launched five years ago. "To all my loyal customers and friends, you have made the past five years the most special. However, as all great things must come to an end and life is about moving forward, it saddens me to announce that I sold Panache Coffee. I have confidence that the new owners will continue to make Panache the most special hang-out in MetroWest.," wrote Ramlukan. Spiderman Captured at Panache Coffee

The Hollywood actor is in Massachusetts to shoot scenes for a movie starring Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin.

Spiderman star Tobey Maguire ventured into Panache Coffee Monday morning. He even posed for a photo with employee Nina Santos. Thanks to Panache Coffee for sharing this photo with Framingham Patch. Labor Day has been filming in Massachusetts with Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin and James Van Der Beek. The movie is based on the novel by the same name, written by Joyce Maynard. The movie is about a depressed single mon and her son Henry, 13, who offer a wounded man a ride. As police search the community for the escaped convict, the mother and son gradually learn his true story. Maguire is reported to be playing an older version of Henry. Exploring Education

Student Photography Show At Panache Coffee

There will be a reception with the Framingham High students Sunday, May 6 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The Framingham High School Fine Arts Department is proud to announce the opening of the Framingham High School Photography Show at Panache Coffee. The exhibit, featuring the work of 50 Photo 2 and 3 students of Rebecca Cauchon, will be on display the entire month of May. There is a reception with the students on Sunday May 6 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Musicians Given Spotlight at Panache Coffee [VIDEO]

Panache Coffee held an open mic night for performers, young and old, last month. A second open mic night, in conjunction with Centre Music House, will be held tonight, Sept. 30.

Panache Coffee was packed. Seventeen musical acts were preparing to have the spotlight shine on them. Each artist or group was given 10 minutes to perform or two songs. Original songs and covers of classics blended with the informal, coffee house atmosphere. The music ranged from folk to country to rock to rap. There was even a rendition of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. Max Larson, of Centre Music House, was the chief organizer of the event. “This was a collaborative effort between Panache and Centre Music,” said Larson. “The goal was to get students from the store to perform.” Nearly all the artists that performed are from Framingham.
