Just when you thought it was safe to drive on Edgell Road without construction, comes word the Town of Framingham plans to include the popular roadway in its 2013 construction projects.
Like a horror film with way too many sequels, Edgell Road will see construction again this summer. Framingham Chief Engineer Bill Sedewitz told Selectmen last week Edgell Road, from Central Street to Oak Street will be part of the town's 2013 construction projects. The project will go out to bid either this month or next. The work could start as early as May, with a heightened schedule after school ends in June. "We want to do the majority of the work when the buses are not working," said Sedewitz. He estimated the project could be completed by September.
