POLICE LOG: Investigations at Keefe Tech, Missing Person and 10 Crashes

Monday, Dec. 3: 2 arrests and 10 crashes 12:17 a.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Mass Pike and Route 9, with no injuries. Report it is a single car crash.  7:14 a.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Tedeschi, 430 Waverly, with no injuries.     8:06 a.m. Report of a child struck by a vehicle on Flagg Drive in front of McCarthy Elementary School. UPDATED: McCarthy Elementary Student Struck by a Car

A second grade student at McCarthy Elementary was struck by a car Monday morning.

UPDATED A second grade student at McCarthy Elementary School was struck by a car Monday morning just after 8 a.m. on Flagg Drive. School starts at 8:15 a.m. at McCarthy. The boy, age 7 was taken to MetroWest Medical Center for x-rays. McCarthy Elementary principal Matt Hanlon said Tuesday afternoon the boy is fine, with no broken bones. McCarthy parents reported he had a few cuts and scrapes. Framingham Police said the boy was hit by a Framingham man, 59, driving a Volvo. The incident happened on Flagg Drive. Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini said it appeared the boy "ran out in the street." Police are investigating. Hanlon said a parent had parked the car at the Fuller Middle School lot across the street.
