Library Hosted After Hours Literary Scavenger Hunt For Teens
To celebrate the one year anniversary of the Teens and Tweens Homework Center at the main Framingham Library, students participated in an after-hours literary scavenger hunt.
To celebrate the one year anniversary of the Teens and Tweens Homework Center at the main Framingham Library, 15-20 students participated in an after-hours literary scavenger hunt. Homework Center Coodinator Judy Gatlin organized the event. Gatlin and the tutors created the 50-question literary scavenger hunt worksheet. Young Adult Librarian Marcy Maiorana, who wrote the grant to create the homework center, Gatlin, and Assistant Library Director Jane Peck were chaperones for the after-hours scavenger hunt. Te Framingham Library received a $15,000 federal grant in 2012, to establish a homework center for the town's tweens and teens school students.
