It was opening night for the students at Cameron Middle School last night. The students will perform The Wiz, again tonight, Dec. 3.
Under the direction of Maura Kate Moore and musical director Michelle Smith, more than 60 students took the stage tonight in the musical The Wiz at Cameron Middle School before a packed auditorium. Brianna Costa had the starring role of Dorothy. Other main characters in the production included Elena Jacobs as Scarecrow, Johnny Llewellyn as Tinman, Luan Cadahia as Lion, Yasmin Valdes-Sturns as Addaperle, Ajhanel Rhoden as Evillene, Heather Rotatori as Glinda and Megan LaPlante as The Wiz.
