Framingham Planner is New Administrator on Martha's Vineyard
John "Jay" Grande was chosen by Tisbury selectmen as the next town administrator for the town, which is on Martha's Vineyard.
Framingham is losing its Planning Board director to Martha's Vineyard. John "Jay" W. Grande was offered the town administrator's job in Tisbury on Tuesday night, the Martha's Vineyard Times reported. One Tisbury selectman said Grande has "a proven ability as a planner who has the skill set to bring ideas to completion," according to The Times' report. Grande has led Framingham's Planning Board Department for 16 years.

Glad to hear he is leaving. Planning Board hasn't been very business friendly and the town could use more businesses to lower our "homeowner" taxes! Choose Framingham? I haven't seen them encourage or support many businesses .. instead they make them jump through hoop after hoop .. McDonalds on Route 30 finally approved and McDonalds on Route 9 rejected with almost the same exact plan ... time to…   more ›
