Framingham Shooting Suspect Arrested at Motel 6 In Tewksbury

The man apprehended in Tewksbury on Sunday evening is wanted by Framingham Police in connection with a shooting in that town on Aug. 25, according to The Lowell Sun.

The Lowell Sun reports the man barricaded in a Motel 6 room in Tewksbury on Sunday night and later taken into custody is wanted by Framingham Police in connection with a shooting in Framingham last Saturday. According to The Sun, Tewksbury Police confirmed that the man taken into custody is Damon Johnson, 24, who Framingham Police allege shot a 29-year-old man in the back of the head just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25.  Framingham Patch reports that after the shooting on Aug. 25, Johnson allegedly took off in a car while armed with a 9mm handgun and when cornered by police, escaped on foot. A manhunt took place but he was not found Saturday night. The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center and the bullet did not penetrate his skull…

Framingham Man Guilty of Rape, Armed Robbery

Reinaldo Prado, 30, of Framingham, was found guilty Monday by a Middlesex Superior Court jury on charges of aggravated rape, armed robbery (three counts), and intimidation of a witness (three counts).

A Framingham man has been found guilty of rape and robbery charges against three female victims he solicited from Craig’s List, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone said in a press statement Monday. Reinaldo Prado, 30, of Framingham, was found guilty Monday by a Middlesex Superior Court jury on charges of aggravated rape, armed robbery (three counts), and intimidation of a witness (three counts). Middlesex Superior Court Judge Kathe Tuttman will sentence the defendant on Oct. 18.  He was found not guilty of 2 of the 3 counts of aggravated rape and 3 counts of indecent assault and battery. “Reinaldo Prado has now been found guilty and will be held responsible for a series of brazen attacks on women he solicited on Craig’s List,”  Leone …
