Dawn-Marie Cornett is a personal and corporate Communication Coach and has been helping individuals for more than two decades. From the time she was a small child, Dawn-Marie has been tuned into the pain and confusion people feel when their inner voice is harsh and critical, even hateful and when communication with others breaks down. Her desire to help led her to answers in psychology and spirituality that gave her the foundation she needed to begin helping people find help and healing in many different situations.

Since her professional start, Dawn-Marie has been a voracious reader, studying anything she could get her hands on that might help her help others. Today, she has an active coaching practice where she guides people in their pursuit of more effective communication within themselves and with others. She's an active speaker, giving talks and seminars in the US and Canada. No group is too small or too large.

“We will never be fully able to share our hearts and minds with others if we are fearful or ashamed. First, we must learn to have productive, compassionate conversations with ourselves. Then we will be able to hear others, free of unproductive personal filters, allowing us to communicate more effectively in any situation.”

Dawn-Marie specializes in relationship communication and conflict resolution which covers the gamut of both personal and business interactions. Understanding that communication is at the root of any relationship, Dawn-Marie is passionate about bringing as much understanding and skill to her clients as possible. “In our business, church, community, and personal lives, we can all think of discussions we’ve had where we are being misunderstood no matter how hard we try to be clear. Parents and children can come close to blows simply because they don’t know how to communicate their needs. Couples divorce because they are convinced the other is not listening, and businesses fold because managers fail to bring teams together. Little else is as important to our personal and professional success as being effective communicators.”
