ReplyFour weeks of vacation instead of three???? I am not in favor of that at all! Period.
With all due respect to Ms Hugo and Mr Bower, the two weeks off around Christmas is not a good idea. So now the SC can define when "incredible family time" should occur? With limited personal/vacation time provided by my company, I could be FORCED to take them then. What if I want to use my personal time to assist with routine classroom activities or chaperone field trips?
So, Ms Hugo and Mr Bower, here is how those two weeks would look for my particular situation. My youngest would spend many of those days with the OST Vacation Program, and my oldest would spend quality time with other families.

What I meant to say was the following:
