When Do Framingham's Beaches Open?

Framingham Beach passes now on sale.

Although Framingham Public Schools do not get out until next week, the Town of Framingham's beaches will open tomorow, June 20.

The Saxonville Beach on Lake Road, Learneds Pond on Lower Shawmut Terrace, and Lake Waushakum on Nipmuc Road will open at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Beach Tags are required to use the beaches.

The tags will be on sale Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Framingham Parks & Recreation Office on Union Avenue.

Season tags are $15 per resident and $40 per family, with a maximum of 6 tag per household.

Non-residents can purchase seasonal tags at $30 per person, $70 per family/household. 

Day passes will be available at each beach for $3 per resident and $6 per non-resident.

Lifeguards will be on duty from 10 A.M. to 7 P.M. seven days a week.

The town's beaches will close on Aug. 15
