ESPN'S Play of The Day Motivates Flyers to First Victory

After the Framingham Flyers saw themselves on ESPN'S play of the Day earlier this week, they came out to Bowditch Field with motivation not to lose again and that's just what happened. They took on Brookline's Warriors and after only allowing a few yards then a punt, the Flyers took the ball 85 yards on a rushing play to take an early lead. Brookline did come back and tie it up at 7, but the tie didn't last long. By halftime, the Flyers were in control with a 41-7 lead and even  though they didn't score in the second half, they were able to hold onto the lead and win their first game of the season 41-20. This reporter heard some of the kids even say "Where's ESPN now?" Brookline didn't help their cause with too many penalties and a couple of fumbles, but the Flyers defense was strong for most of the game and they had a great running game.
