On Wednesday night, the Framingham High Girls Varsity Field Hockey team traveled to Lawrence and battled Central Catholic in the first round of the MIAA tournament. The Flyers scored first only to have the score tied at 1 by halftime. In the second half, the Flyers scored again with just over 6 minutes left in the game and held off the Raiders to advance to the second round where they will face Acton/Boxborough (seeded #1) on Friday afternoon on the road at 3:00.
