The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (PAC) Family Players plans to breathe new life into the timeless story of the girl and the glass slipper.
Experience the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic set in the big city where Cinderella dreams of life outside of her stepfamily’s beauty parlor and pumpkins and princes are re-imagined in new ways.

Directed by Katie Broach and with musical direction by Eliomar Nascimento, this musical promises to delight audiences of all ages and tell the classic story in a modern setting.

Students will participate in all aspects of the production process. They will not only learn how to audition but will work regularly on music, blocking and choreography. They will also gain experience with set, prop and costume design. The production is open to students in grades 3 through 6.

There is no need to prepare for the auditions but you may bring 16 bars of any song if you wish.

All students will be cast.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Fridays 4-6 p.m., and begin Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Show dates are  January 31, February 1 and 2, 2014.

Call the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest to register at 508-875-5554.
