A Framingham man was stabbed and shot during a home invasion Friday night, according to Framingham Police.

Framingham Police responding to a report of a shooting at 56A Second St. just after 11 p.m. Friday, found a man with a gunshot wound and stab wounds in the back yard of 60A Second St., said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini.

The man was taken to Brigham and Women's hospital in Boston via a medical helicopter, with what Brandolini described as not life threatening injuries.

According to statements made to police, the victim's fiance was in the Second Street apartment, with her two young children, when she heard a knock on the rear door.

She told police she opened the door and saw three hooded men with knives and a firearm. She told police the men "forced their way into the apartment, placed the knife against her and started screaming: "where’s the money?'"

According to statements to police, two of the men stayed downstairs while one went upstairs searching for money.

At that point, according to the woman, her fiance came home.

When he entered the apartment, via the rear door, he was instantaneously met in the kitchen by the male subjects, according to her police statement.

One of the men pointed a handgun at the man. The victim tried to defend himself and was shot in the chest, according to the woman.

The woman ran out of the apartment and the man, who was shot tried to follow and was stabbed by another man, according to the women's statement to police.

All three men fled on foot towards Beaver Terrace Circle, according to witness statements.

The three men are described as:

  • #1 - Black male wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a mask hiding his face. This suspect is described as having a squeaky voice. This suspect is described as having the gun.
  • #2 - Hispanic male, in his twenties wearing a dark hoodie. Hoodie was cinched tight so no further description available at this time. This suspect was believed to be armed with a knife.
  • #3 - Male, possibly Hispanic, and being the shortest of the three. This suspect also had a dark cinched hoodie.

If anyone has any information they are asked to call the Framingham detectives at 508-532-5924.
