More than 10 Framingham Police cruisers responded to the Gold Refinery on Route 9 after a report of an armed robbery on Friday at 10:52 a.m.
Two masked men threatened an employee at gunpoint to open the safe and left with $5,000.
The robbery, at 1237 Worchester Rd., is still under police investigation.
