UPDATED: Framingham Man Arrested Following Stabbing

Framingham Police charge Framingham man with intent to murder. Framingham victim in critical condition at Boston Hospital.

Framingham Police responded to a report of a stabbing on Winthrop Street Wednesday night, March 26 around 9:30.

Police arrested Ader Anjos, 33, of 61 Winthrop St. Apt. 3 of Framingham at 116 Winthrop St. Police charged him with assault with intent to murder and resisting arrest.

He was arraigned on Thursday and held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing next week, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's office. 

The victim was a roommate. The Framingham male was stabbed in the chest with a knife and taken to Beth Israel Medical Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was listed in critical condition on Thursday.

Framingham Police was not available to provide additional details.
