Artist To Talk About Nature Sculptures Installed at Cushing Memorial Park

On Saturday at 11 a.m., the Town of Framingham will hold a dedication ceremony for the sculptures and the artist will talk about her creations.

Recently, four sculptures by Framingham artist Carol J. Spack were installed in Cushing Memorial Park.

Called "Nature's Four Seasons," these sculptures are the first fine art sculptures in the Town of Framingham park.

On Saturday at 11 a.m., the Town of Framingham will hold a dedication ceremony for the sculptures and the artist will talk about her creations.

On the artist's website she says her "sculpture reflects an interest in the structures and patterns of nature which we frequently overlook. These patterns are often the language of life and growth."

The talk will be held at the site of the art work, near the drinking water fountain and children's playground located in the south-west side of the park.

Spack, the former chair of the Framingham Planning Board, is a artists with a studio on Fountain Street in Framingham.

Rain date for this event will be Sunday, Oct. 27 at 11 a.m.
