Markey's Farewell Speech as a Congressman

Rep. Edward Markey, who has represented Framingham in Congress for more than three decades, gave his farewell address before the U.S. House of Representatives last week.

Last month, he was elected the Commonwealth's junior senator. He will take the oath of office on Tuesday, July 16.

A primary election will be held in October with a final election in December to elect a new congressman.
