Did You Send Your Children to School or Keep Them Home?

Framingham Public Schools were open today.

Originally, the school district voted to give students a 2-week holiday break and not have students return to school until Monday, Jan. 6. (Marian High and St. Bridget students return from their Christmas break on Jan. 6)

But some parents complained, and the district re-vote the school calendar in June, having students return to school on Thursday, Jan. 2.

The main roads were black pavement this morning, when I drove my daughter to her school in Framingham. Some side roads were just tire tracks -- the worst street was the one where my daughter's school is located.
