UPDATED: Stapleton Elementary Principal Finalists Announced

Parents can meet the two finalists on Thursday, July 25.

Framingham Superintendent of Schools Stacy Scott has announced two finalists for Stapleton Elementary School. The two finalists are: Melissa Provost and Joseph Smith.  

Ms. Provost has been an Assistant Principal for two elementary schools in Leicester for the past three school years. She was also the Director of Math (K-6) for Sturbridge Public Schools for a year and an Elementary School Teacher in the Quaboag Regional School District for six years.  

For the past three years, Smith has been the Principal at Leeds Elementary School in Northampton. Previously, Smith was in Amherst and served as an Assistant Elementary Principal for two years and as a Title I Coordinator for one year. He was also a Title I Teacher for Amherst-Pelham for two years and a Special Education Teacher in Albany, New York for five years. 

On Thursday, July 25 at 5:30 p.m. a forum will be held at the King Administration Building, 454 Water St. for parents and community members to meet the two finalists.
