Truck Day Will Kick Off Framingham Summer Reading Program Saturday

Today, June 21, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Pinefield Shopping Center the McAuliffe Branch Library will host Truck Day to kick off the summer reading program.

Families can explore big trucks from the Framingham Fire, Police, and DPW departments. There will also be ice cream and food trucks too.

Afterwards visit, the McAuliffe Library branch to sign up for the summer reading program. Each child will get a packet that explains the popular guessing jar and trivia contests (with prizes), how to win a prize at the end of the summer as well as receive a free t-shirt, and how to keep track of your reading online if you’re spending the summer away.

Both the main Framingham Library and its branch have the summer reading lists for the Framingham Public Schools and the McAuliffe Charter School.
