MBTA Wants to Hear Your Thoughts on the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail

The MBTA will hold a meeting Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Nevins Hall, Memorial Building in Framingham at 7 p.m.

The MBTA has scheduled a public meeting this week in Framingham to receive feedback on train times as it plans to increase service on the Framingham/Worcester commuter rail line.

The MBTA is planning an expansion, which will build on the additional peak train departures that started last fall and spring. Other improvements to the line include a new station at Yawkey and track and signal upgrades.

“These investments will increase capacity, allow schedule flexibility, reduce travel time, improve reliability, and enhance safety, comfort and convenience,” an MBTA press release said.
